Obituary of Tillie Schilling

Tillie Schilling passed away on July 3, 2012 in Stettler, Alberta at the age of 92 years. Tillie was born on October 6, 1919 at Castor, Alberta, one of thirteen children born to Rose and George Renschler. Tillie married Harry Schilling on August 23, 1942; they farmed south of Halkirk, Alberta where they raised their five children. They moved to Stettler, Alberta in 1974 and began their retirement. Tillie enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, jigsaw puzzles and did some travelling. Tillie is survived by her loving family, children: Betty (Wade) Jameson of Stettler, Patsy Sorensen of Endiang, Debbie Schilling of Castor and Allan Schilling of Stettler; grandchildren: Murray Jameson, Kathleen Jameson, Darren Jameson, Brenda (Bruce) Iversen, Brent Sorensen, Codee Sorensen, Rusty (Kelly) Reeves, Goldie (Jason) Reed, Dollie (Bruce) Mustard, Lyndsey (Terrence) Coulthard, Kelsey Howe and Scott Wraight; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; sisters: Hilda, Lily, Mabel, May and Bessie; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends. Tillie was predeceased by her husband Harry Schilling, daughter Judy Reeves, granddaughter Tina Reeves and son in law Allen Sorensen.
