I am so sorry for your loss. There aren't words to describe what you are going through at this time. I do not know you but I have lost a child and when you said you didn't know how to bury a child, I had to learn the hard way as well. My home town is Byemoor, south of Stettler. I grew up around that area all my life and I know Stettler well. My parents retired to Stettler when they left the farm, John and May Baird. My aunt lived in the trailer court there on the north side of Stettler, Louise Bertwell, my son was killed on the farm that I grew up on and to this day, I still shed tears. It gets easier but it doesn't get much better. Time heals but you always remember. My son was 8 when he was killed and would be 47 years old now. I miss what he would be doing today, and miss having him be married and have grandkids but I continue on. He left a brother and a sister that both saw him killed and both still miss him terribly. I have been a Bereavement Crisis Worker for many years for Canadian Mental Health in Red Deer and if you ever want to talk or to just say nothing, I am here for you. My phone number is 403-746-3159. I know what you are going through and if you need someone that knows what it is like to lose a child, I am here for you. We don't need to know one another. The people that I have worked with I didn't know until we had this common thing, the loss of a child. Everytime I see someone that has lost a chilid, it just hits me again. I have previously wrote to you on here but wanted to add this in case you are thinking I am not true to what I am saying. I found going to a church and just sitting there and letting my mind go around and the quietness of it all. I was not a religious person but this has made me believe that there is a god and for a reason my son was taken and how I got through it, is He was such a beautiful little boy that God needed him home again to help with the other children. NO matter what you grab on to, it is your idea and it will get you through it somehow. Once again, I feel and I know and my thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I didn't know Koralea but I know I few people that did. I lost my brother 3 years ago and hearing of your tragic loss brought back alot of memories of that terrible day. I am thinking of you all and truly understand what your going through. I want you all to know how sorry I am for your devastating loss. Kora always had a soft spot in my heart. I remember babysitting her as a baby when I first met Janel and thought she was such a beautiful girl. When I knew her when she was older she was always helping in the spa, playing outside and I always loved how free spirited she was. Janel, Darcy, Jacy (and all Kora''s family) my heart is broken for you...what an uneccessary loss of a bright life. She obviously meant the world to a lot of people who will miss her terribly.
