Obituary of Gordon Kenneth Rochon

Gordon Rochon was born September 3, 1932 to Walter and Ruth Rochon. Gordie was just a young lad when Walter and Ruth Rochon moved into the Donalda district. It didn't take Gordie long to find friends in the area as there were quite a few young folks his age around. He liked to play the guitar and sing, so he fit in very well. It wasn't too long before an orchestra was formed and Gordie played and sang some of his favorite songs, one of which was “I Traced Her Little Footprints In The Snow." Soon it was known as Gordie's song. He played with different groups over the years. Gordie met Aggie Rittenhouse in 1977; they spent the next thirty-four years together working side by side on the farm. He liked to repair lawn mower motors and was very good at making them run. He also worked for many farmers in the area. He will be sadly missed by everyone that knew him -- especially his partner Aggie.
