“Faye & Chuck, and family, Very sorry to learn of your huge loss with the passing of your Dad and Granddad. He was certainly a legend in chuckwagon circles, the ‘Gordie Howe’ of the chuckwagon world as we heard and saw his name and accomplishments in the media for many, many years. We were sure glad to learn of your life connection and his legacy, Faye, back in the fall at the FCSS Conference. With our sincere condolences and sympathies,
Diana and Lyle Rowe

We did not have the pleasure of meeting Orville in our life time, yet the life messages he passed down to his grandsons Eddie and Billy are clearly visable. They are amazing men of character, integrity and warmth. May his legacy of "who" he was live on in his family. Our deepest regrets to you all.
May God grace full upon you as you walk through the days ahead.

What a great man! We were neighbours along with my inlaws Adolph and Dora Bahler. Leaving only one half mile away, I have memories of hearing Orville training his horses in the early morning. We coffeed back and forth often.
i was surprised to hear that your mom, Doris had passed away. Had she been ill?
Our thoughts are with you all.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your father, fatherinlaw, grandfather and great grandfather. He was one of a kind and one of the true last pioneers of the western ways that existed. It was great that you all had many years to share most of his great experiences.
Thinking of all of you at this time.
