Amanda Lee Becker was born May 6, 1976 at Invermere, BC. The family lived in Canal Flats for a period of time before moving to Creston, BC in 1977. She attended school in Creston at Adam Robinson Elementary to grade seven; then went to Prince Charles Secondary High School. She worked as a waitress and cook in Creston until she moved to Alberta in 2003. She found employment at Heart Haven Lodge and for a period of time served as head housekeeper until transferring over to Willow Creek Lodge where she worked until her passing. Amanda loved her two cats (Brat and Baby Girl), as well as country music, camping or just being alone and relaxing. She is survived by her mother Judy Pergar and stepfather Tony Smale of Bashaw; her loving sister Tonya Becker and her family of Prince George; brother Jason Becker; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She will be sadly missed by her great friend Judy Hunt and many colleagues. She was predeceased by her father Dennis Herman Becker in 1980; and both Grandma and Grandpa Johnson and Grandpa and Grandma Becker. Amanda passed away suddenly at her home on September 9, 2011.
