Gord and family. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family in your time of sorrow. Words cannot express my sadness. Sharon was my BFF. Sharon and I became friends immediately some 30 years ago when we first met working at the town office. We were always texting about the storyline on Coronation Street or the score when the Calgary Stampeders were playing. We met often during the summer months when ‘the girls’ met for coffee at McDonalds. I’m sure you’ll find comfort in all the wonderful memories you shared as a family. Rest In Peace Dear Friend.

I am very sad to hear of Sharon’s passing. I got to know her when I chaired the Beautification committee and found her to be conscientious, kind, and having a great sense of humour. I always enjoyed my conversations with Sharon. Please know that she touched many people. My deepest sympathy. Gail Peterson

So sad to hear this Gordie. Sharon was one of my all time favourite people. We spent 9 years together at the town office when I was on council. She was a ray of sunshine every time I would see her. So friendly; so funny; so helpful. I just wish I had kept in contact with her over the years. Our sincerest condolences, she will be missed. Gary & Di McKay

Gord and family. We are very sorry to hear of your loss. I spent over twenty years working with Sharon and enjoyed every day. She wanted the Town Office staff to enjoy themselves and she was a leader in this regard. From decorating at Christmas, attending many socials or sharing in the staff successes, she was always a positive force. She was great at keeping me organized, informed and on the right track. She was a true friend and will be missed.

Sending our sincere condolences at this very sad time. Sharon was a wonderful lady who always had a big smile when we saw her. We will miss her little emails sharing a joke she thought we would like or just touching base to see how we were all doing. We hope you find comfort in all the wonderful memories you have.
Thinking of you all,
Mark, Lisa and Marisa

Thinking of you Gord and Family. Had a lot of fun working with Sharon and the bets on the hockey games with Lorence were the best. Enjoyed the friend ship with both of you all these years. See ya soon. What a wonderful person to be part of our lives.
Love Cherie
