Obituary of Agnes Jane Holloway

Agnes Jane (Nancy) Holloway was born in Castor July 26, 1921 and on June 26, 2011 her wish was fulfilled as she entered Heaven and met her Saviour, Jesus Christ. Nancy was one month short of reaching her 90th birthday. She was the third child of six born to Charlie and Alice Johnson. Nancy lived all her life in the Fleet / Castor area. Nancy married Dave Holloway on December 22, 1944. They had eight children. Nancy accepted Christ as her Saviour as a child, and her faith and walk with God was important to her through out her life. The family remembers the great meals she cooked, the variety of her baking, the afghans she made, and the many other special things she did for all of them through the years. Her famous calendar with all the family birthdays and anniversaries was important to Nancy as she remembered her family on their special days. Nancy was predeceased by her husband Dave in 1995, her parents, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her children Lyn (Pat), Raymond, Don (Cheryl), Phil, Les (Karen), Nelson (Christine), Sheila and Elizabeth. She is survived by 17 grandchildren who affectionately called her Granny, and by 26 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her youngest brother Jake Johnson.
