Judy and family.....I just learned of Francis's passing and wish to express my sincerest condolences to you all. Having read the obituary I see that he had lived a very interesting life with being in the war and being awarded the Purple Heart. He was a great carpenter and left his mark on Castor in that way, as well as with his love of sports and athleticism and encouraging children to keep fit. My sympathy to all of you...…he will be missed.

I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the Hall family find comfort and strength in Jesus promise along with our heavenly father Jehovah of the earthly resurrection, where death will be eliminated forever. We wanted to share our condolences with Francis' family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Mr Hall (we always addressed him that way and it still seems fitting today) He built our house in Castor and did his usual masterful job. I also remember him from the Castor Gym Club and how incredibly fit he was, I've never seen someone do so many push ups that effortlessly! Growing up Michael was a great childhood friend and we spent lots of time at the Hall house. My sincere sympathy to Judy.Michael,Lana,Jennifer and the entire extended family. Ed Bain Victoria B.C.

To the Hall Family, I am sorry for your loss. I will always remember Francis for the many things he did for me in my youth. When I started skiing with the Castor ski club I was a little hard on equipment. Francis would always mount my bindings, and when I broke a ski he was always there to repair the damage or find another ski to replace the damaged one. Francis introduced me into the gym club and then into the sweet science [ I guess I was not that good at gym]. I represented the Castor club in the 85 pound class, and although I did not win a title, I will always remember the enjoyable times we had together. Thank you for giving so much of your time to helping the youth of Castor. god bless you and your family. Larry Miller [Moe]
