Obituary of Dennis Lee Burnside

Dennis Lee Burnside, of Castor, formerly of Barrhead, passed away November 24, 2016, at the age of 75, after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his wife Susan McLaren Burnside and furever friend Daisy, both of Castor; three daughters: Sam (Cam) Sonnenberg of Fort Saskatchewan, Cindy (Gerald) Beyers of Spruce Grove and Betti-Jo (Camile) De Zaeyer of Barrhead. Grandchildren include Brendt (Angela) Sonnenberg and Alyssa (Joe) Van Hecke of Fort Saskatchewan, Ashley (Nathan) Peregrym and Megan (John) Suhrweier of Spruce Grove and Nicole and Amanda De Zaeyer of Barrhead. Great grandchildren include Austyn Sonnenberg and Rylee and Thomas Van Hecke, all of Fort Saskatchewan. Dennis is also survived by his sister Gail Abrams of Regina, brother Kim (Marilyn) Burnside of Moose Jaw and brother Rick (Arlene) Burnside of Dauphin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. He was predeceased by parents Jack and Sonny (Euna) Burnside, son Jason Burnside and brother- in- law Gerry Abrams.
