My condolences to the family. While growing up in Castor I have two wonderful memories of Raymond. First, he and and his father took a few friends on our first goose shoot. We all had trouble sleeping the night before the big shoot and after digging our pits spent the night thinking of the big event. After a great outing we returned to school for the afternoon history class, only to fall asleep during the presentation. Secondly, if you can remember high school was when the Beatles first appeared, and Raymond , always wanting to be the first, came to school with his hair combed in the Beatles style. The principal of the school was not quite ready for the Beatle invasion and chased Raymond down the hall and into the washroom where Raymond was asked to change his hair style. We all enjoyed the moment.
