Percy Tschritter Funeral Services Saturday, May 10, 2014 2:00 PM Castor Community Hall Castor, Alberta Percy John Tschritter was born to Jack and Frieda on September 9, 1940 in Castor, AB. He was the youngest of 10 children and grew up 12 miles south of Castor. He passed away on March 3, 2014 in Calgary AB. Percy went to Sullivan Lake School until grade 9 where he learned at his own pace. He was accepted and learned to fit. Young in life Percy fell down the basement stairs where he suffered scoliosis and a hearing impairment. Then later in life he developed diabetes. Percy enjoyed knowing all of his nieces and nephews. Especially teasing all of them and seeing them laugh. He loved them all dearly. His dad taught him to do carpentry work, fix engines and tend to the animals on the farm. He worked for Art and Mytal Cole for 18 years. Where he spent many hours with the kids. He worked for Bill’s Farm Supply, The County of Paintearth and for road crews with his brother-in-law Jack Dunington. In 2007 he sold his house and moved into the Paintearth Lodge. Where he enjoyed visitng with everyone. In 2013 he moved to the extended care due to poor health problems but he made the most of it. It helped that his nephew Bob Dunington had moved back to Castor in October 2013 where he spent many days having coffee and going to Bingo. Percy did not live his life for the applause but did good work and had good workmanship. He always thought the best of everyone and loved to visit with everyone he met. He is predeceased by his mother and father, infant brother Edward, his brother Emile, sisters Helen (Jack Dunington), Irene (Bob Crowe), Lavina (Don Smith), brother-in-law John Delker, nieces Shirley and Judy and nephew Trevor. He is survived by brothers Ivan (Eileen), Victor (Beatrice), sister Violet Delker, many nieces and nephews; and his chosen family Art and Myrtle Cole, Dwight (Bonnie), Kurt (Lynn), Faye (Bob) Webber, Carson (Leanne) and all their kids. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital Foundation-Extended Care or the Paintearth Lodge.
