It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother Myrna Lorraine Lawrence, on November 6, 2013 at Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital, Castor, Alberta. Myrna grew up in the Kingman and Camrose area and attended school in Camrose. Prior to her marriage to Charles in 1981 in Camrose, Alberta Myrna worked for AGT. To this union they welcomed a son Randy in 1983. The family moved to Fleet in 1993 and Myrna continued her working career at Tea Tyme Lounge in Coronation and Food Town in Castor. She loved watching and feeding birds, especially the pheasants, peacocks, chickens, guinea hens and the rabbits. In 2010 Myrna was diagnosed with ALS, during this time she had to make many changes in her life; she had to learn to communicate differently, she became a fighter and was determined to enjoy the time she had. Charles and Myrna loved to travel and take time to visit one of their favorite spots, Tofino, BC as well as other vacation spots throughout BC, Yukon and Inuvet. Myrna is survived by her loving husband Charles; her son Randy; brothers in law Tom (Bonnie) Lawrence of Rocky Mountain House and John (Helen) Lawrence of Sylvan Lake; sisters in law Gayle (John) Kovach of Coronation, Pat Lawrence of Coronation and Shannon (Jay) Gerrard of Edmonton; cousins Wendy Thostsenson of Vegreville, Cindy (Gord) Foss of Camrose and Terry Hovelson of Lacombe; numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
