Obituary of Peter Ronald Martin Lattery

Peter Ronald Martin Lattery also known by many as Ronnie passed away at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Camrose Alberta on December 17, 2011 at the age of 66. He is survived by his two sons Kevin Martin Lattery of Saskatchewan and Kelvin Rocky Lattery of Lacombe and his daughter Pamela Aline Tamashiro of Red Deer; grandchildren: Rinelle Aurore and Renica Aline Lattery of Prince George, BC, Cashman Kade and Kiara Taylor Jastelle Tamashiro of Red Deer; brother Leo Lattery and wife Darlene of Edson, their children Cindy, Charmain, Brent and Sandra; brother Pat Lattery and wife Sharon of Calgary, their children Tammy, Patrick and Mike. He was predeceased by his parents Nevis Martin and Aline Susan Lattery of Halkirk. Ron grew up around the Halkirk area and his first love was hockey which he played throughout Alberta and became well known for. He also loved rodeo. He worked for the Alberta Wheat Pool for 35 years until his retirement in 1995. Three years after his retirement Ron suffered a nearly fatal accident which left him brain injured and he required hospitalization and full time care until his passing December 17, 2011. A special thank you to the Rose Haven Eastview Care Center in Camrose for all of your continuing and wonderful care for our father. Gone but not forgotten, your memory will live on.
