Obituary of Margaret Pallesen

Mrs. Margaret Pallesen passed away peacefully at Michener Extendicare, Red Deer, Alberta on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the age of 88 years. Margaret was born on February 2, 1923 in Castor, Alberta. Margaret is survived by her children: Maureen (Wayne) Sommerville, Joy (Scott) Evans, Donald (Sereta) Brown, Wendy (Michael) Kubinec and Glenda Spady. Margaret is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren; her sister Elsie Dalton and by a large extended family. She will also be missed by many friends. Margaret was predeceased by her first husband Donald Brown in 1955, her second husband Clifford Pallesen in 2010, her parents Phillip and Katherine Schnell, her son in law Bill Spady in 2011, eight brothers and as well a sister at a young age. A celebration of life will be held at Knox United Church, Castor, Alberta on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
