Riley James Howard

October 27, 1949 ~ June 14, 2026

Riley Howard was born in Stettler, Alberta on October 27, 1949. He passed away on June 14, 2026, in Stettler, Alberta at the Stettler Hospital after a very courageous battle with cancer.

Riley spent his entire life working in the Stettler/Coronation area in the oil and gas industry. After retirement Riley spent his summers working and helping at the River Creek Campground where he had many friends and family. Riley had an admiration, affection and appreciation for the  older vehicles.

He spent his winters in a condo directly on the ocean at Panama City Beach, Florida and in later years he spent his winters with Faye at Desert Hot Springs, California.

Surviving Riley is his loving companion, Faye Blakely; daughters ~ Kathy (Chris) Turner and Lesley (Jason) Arsenault and their three children, Kay-lynn, Erika and Jacob;

sister Judy Stanvick; and Faye’s family; very dear friend Kathy Blakely; many dear cousins, other family and friends.

Riley was predeceased by his parents Ted and Marie Howard and brother in law Loren Stanvick.
