1986 ~ 2026

It is heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mandy (Amanda) Leigh Leckie (nee Jeffrey) on May 14, 2026 at the age of 39 years, after a courageous battle with cancer.

  Mandy was born and raised in Charlie Lake, BC, where she was an avid soccer player and excelled in academics.  Her mom always said that Mandy was a smart cookie. Mandy was a cherished mother, daughter and friend.  She was first and foremost most passionate about her love for Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour. 

She was the most dedicated mother to Brielle and Caden, centering her life around them, teaching them the value of loving God and resilience in difficulty. 

This beautiful woman was known for her bubbly personality, love for crafting and baking.

Mandy is survived by her loving children, Brielle and Caden; father of her children; parents Lee and Donna Jeffrey; three aunties: Lori Jeffrey, Suzan (David) Kortes and Lynda (Jeff) Stefanek; grandma Flo Anderson; other family and many dear friends.

Mandy was predeceased by grandfathers George William Jeffrey and Wade Anderson and grandmother Mary Elizabeth Jeffrey.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Big Valley Evangelical Free Church, Big Valley, Alberta. Mandy’s family requests that you please wearher favourite colours, Purple, Pink and White.
