Clark Robert Bunbury
July 2, 1955 ~ April 7, 2026
Clark Robert Bunbury Was born July 2, 1955 to Robert George Bunbury and Dorothy Irene Bunbury(Jackson) In Castor Alberta.
Clark grew up on the family farm north of Castor with his four sisters, Donna, Lynda, Jean and Brenda and his one brother Ross. Raising cattle and farming the land. He had a deep love for all things farming. He loved his cattle. Clark attended The local Paintearth School just down the road from the farm till it closed, then he attended the Castor school. Where he met Melanie Jamison. Clark and Melanie were married on May 3, 1975. They completed their family with three children, Craig, Rena and Stephanie.
He was blessed to add three more kids to his family Janell Everson (Craig) Christopher Stewart (Rena) Justin Brown (Stephanie). He loved each of them as if they were his own. His grandkids were his pride and joy. Kaylee (Craig and Janell) Saige, Callum, and Jackson (Christopher and Rena) Owen and Max ( Justin and Stephanie). Family was everything to Clark, which is shown by the deep bonds of his family.
Clark worked both on and off the family farm over the years. But his love was always farming. Even once he retired, he never stopped doing what he loved which was working the family farm.
In the last few years, Clark and Melanie found a love for traveling. They had made many memorable trips with family and friends. They travelled all over Europe, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, as well as many other places. Many lasting memories were made on those trips.
On April 7, 2026 Clark passed away doing what he loved , working with his cows on the family farm.
Clark is lovingly remembered by his wife Melanie; son Craig (Janell) and their daughter Kaylee; daughter Rena (Christopher) Stewart and children Saige, Callum and Jackson; daughter Stephanie (Justin) Brown and children Owen and Max; siblings Donna Garrow, Jean (Rick) Johnson, Lynda Storch, Ross (Sheryl) Bunbury and Brenda Wiechnik along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
Clark was predeceased by his parents Robert and Dortha Bunbury and brothers in law Frank Garrow, Brian Wiechnik and Ken Storch.
Celebration of Life
Monday, April 13, 2026 at 2:00 P.M.
Castor Community Hall, Castor, Alberta
Memorial donations in Clark’s memory may be made to the Castor Hospital Foundation, The Castor Fire Department, S.T.A.R.S., or to a charity of your choice.
