Timothy Wayne Dubitz
1969 – 2026

Timothy Wayne Dubitz of Delburne, Alberta, beloved husband of Lora Dubitz, passed away suddenly at home on April 1, 2026, at the age of 56 years.

Tim was born on July 11, 1969, in Bashaw, Alberta, to John and Florence Dubitz. He graduated from Calmar High School and went on to spend his entire working life as a dedicated contract heavy equipment operator.

Tim had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, quadding, side-by-siding and cooking. He was happiest when surrounded by family, often found cooking or bbqing for everyone and making sure no one left hungry. Tim treasured family gatherings and especially cherished time with his grandchildren. Whether building Lego, playing outside, teaching them how to chop wood, tinkering in the garage, or taking them on road trips, he created lasting memories filled with laughter and love.

He also shared many special moments with his beloved wife Lora, enjoying tropical vacations, road trips, and quiet evenings by backyard fires under the stars.

Tim held a special place in his heart for his loyal companion, Sparky, who predeceased him in October 2024.

Tim will be lovingly remembered for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and the deep love he had for his family.

Tim is survived by his loving wife Lora; children:  Amber Lyle (Chris), Joel Lyle (Emma) and Adam Dubitz (Sierra); grandchildren:  Kael, Korbyn and Benjamin; siblings:  David, Karen (Ray) Greig, Pat, Darrell (Anne) and Barry; special friend Brenda Woods; nieces and nephews: Catrina, Nicholas (Skyla), Chantel (Stefan), Harlow, Grayson, Atticus, Audrina, Lyric, Tripp, Barrett, Jason, Apryl, Brandi, Gemianie and Kevin; other relatives and many dear friends.

Tim was predeceased by his parents John and Florence Dubitz and stepmother Muriel Dubitz.
