Obituary of Lise Knudtson

Elisabeth (Lise) Trijntje Knudtson

Lise Knudtson of Edmonton Alberta passed away peacefully at Sagebrush in Wetaskiwin, Alberta on January 22, 2026, at the age of 74.

Lise was born in Leiden, Netherlands on May 17, 1951. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1953 and lived in Calgary Alberta. Lise spent parts of her life in Calgary, Edmonton and Donalda. She worked in a variety of different things including Communications, Property management and Human Resources.   Lise enjoyed gardening, tending to her many house plants, enjoying a meal with family and sitting back with a cup of tea and enjoying a good movie from her collection. No matter what  was going on in her family’s life they were always welcomed into her home. The most important thing in Lise’s life was her family, and she will be forever cherished for that.

Lise will be forever missed by her 2 daughters: Lisa Knudtson and Amanda Knudtson, her two sons: Brian Knudtson and Jeff (Chantelle) Knudtson and her 6 grandkids: Daylan Sowan, Taylor Knudton, Shayla Reid, Kendra Knudtson, Avrey Clark and Brinley Clark.  She also Leaves behind three sisters: Anna Selerno, Judy Alcock and Rose Mudge. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Lise was predeceased by her Parents:  Endelbertas and Elisabeth Turk, her sisters: Leona Griffith and Jannie Turk Banks, her brothers: Ben Turk and Larry Turk and Her son in Law: Robert Rodgers.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff of Sagebrush in Wetaskiwin who cared so much for Lise during her time there.
