Obituary of Caro Michelle Block

Please share a memory of Caro to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Caro Michelle Block, age 64, of Stettler, Alberta, passed away peacefully surrounded by love and family.

Caro was born the youngest of four Children in Stettler. She grew up with a love of animals and a passion for riding horses.

Caro was a devoted mother, partner, daughter, sibling, and friend whose kindness and caring nature touched everyone who knew her. She lived her life with quiet strength, compassion, and an unwavering love for her family, friends and pets.

Caro spent much of her life caring for others in her family, on the farm, and through her work. She was a true jack of all trades, helping wherever she was needed. Whether working as a grain grader at Cargill or later at the Stettler Hospital, she approached her work the same way she lived her life with care, dedication, and heart. Through her work and hobbies she met many life long friends who she shared many laughs, adventures and experiences with.

She had a lifelong passion for horses and animals, and her heart was happiest surrounded by them. Her family fondly remembers years spent traveling for rodeos, hockey, and 4-H, always showing up, always supporting, always present.

Caro will be remembered for her unconditional love, her quiet resilience, and the way she made others feel safe and cared for. She taught others the importance of kindness, compassion, unconditional love. She always made others feel accepted, loved and cared for.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Wendy Wylie NP, Stettler Homecare, and the Red Deer Hospice Society.

Caro is lovingly survived by her children, Bryre (Emily) Block and Brianna (Jarrad) Mozeski; her partner Bob Rajewski; siblings Rick (Debbie) Shepherd, Bob (Liz) Shepherd and Dianne (Ron) Paton; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was predeceased by her mother and father, Louise and John Shepherd.
