Kenneth “Ken” Fischer
May 17, 1945 – January 4, 2026

With great love and deep sadness, the family of Kenneth “Ken” Fischer announces his passing on January 4, 2026.

Ken was known for his strong work ethic and dedication throughout his long and accomplished career with Xerox, where he devoted many decades of service. His commitment and pride in his work earned him the respect of colleagues and customers across the region. After a fulfilling career, Ken retired in Stettler, Alberta, where he continued to enjoy the community he loved.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff and residents of Heart Haven Lodge for providing care, kindness, and companionship over this past year. Sincere thanks are also extended to the staff at the Stettler Hospital Dialysis Unit, and to the doctors and nurses at the Stettler Regional Hospital for their compassionate support.

Ken will be forever missed by his daughter Audra Fischer of Stettler, AB and son Kent Fischer of Stettler, AB. He is lovingly remembered by his sister Judy (Greg) Ford of Stettler, AB; niece Terra (Robin) Furminger of Sturgeon County, AB; nephew Nathan (Kimberley) Ford and their son Jase Ford of Airdrie, AB; as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends.

Ken was predeceased by his beloved wife Dianne; sister Karen Fischer; parents Chris and Louise Fischer; parents‑in‑law Ed and Pauline Radke.

At a later date, a graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Stettler, with a fellowship luncheon to follow at the Stettler Funeral Home.
