Allan Glen Kneller

September 21, 1961 ~ December 12, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Glen Kneller, age 64, on December 12, 2025. 

Allan began his career with the Alberta Wheat Pool. After its closure, he worked seasonally for the County of Paintearth, drove school bus for Clearview and casual for Ledcor plowing snow until a full-time position came up with the County of Paintearth, where he apprenticed as a Heavy Duty Mechanic and devoted more than 30 years of service, all while farming and caring for his land. 

Hardworking and humble, Allan found joy in simple moments. He loved working with animals, especially his dogs, who were often by his side on tractor rides. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and watching over his cows. Above all, Allan cherished his family. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a proud father and grandfather, and a man deeply respected by all who knew him. 

Allan is lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Brenda; children: Dwayne (Jamie), Kirsten (Nick Trottier) and Steven; grandchildren: Braden, Caleb, Isabelle, Remi and William who were his greatest joy; sister Brenda Alofs; brothers-in-law: William, Aaron, Gary, Alan and Bill; sister-in-law Carol; nephews: Aaron, Kyle and Mitchell McDermand; great-nephews Owen and Eben; great-nieces Nevada and Tessa; numerous cousins, many dear friends and neighbors.

Allan was predeceased by his parents, Gladys and Herb Kneller.
