Floyd Kenneth Lewis Hanna
Floyd was born July 16, 1964 in Ottawa Ontario, he passed away November 19, 2025 at the Stettler Hospital.
Floyd worked in the oilfield industry for a good part of his life, but after an accident left him unable to return, he became a NCSO for the oilfield and wirelines until his early retirement.
Floyd’s pride and joy was his daughter and his five beautiful grandchildren. His love of watching the NASCAR races, restoring his Camaro, and working on the next project was something he took great pride in and could talk about for hours. He loved to laugh and was always up for a good joke.
Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Lori Hanna, daughter Jamie Copeland (Tony Borek), grandchildren: Emma Copeland, Gavin Copeland, Lili Copeland, Lachlan Copeland, TJ Borek, former son in law Patrick Copeland, nieces and nephews and so many loving friends.
Following Floyd’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service, but a Celebration of Life will be held at the Stettler Legion Hall on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 2:00 P.M.
Donations in Floyd’s memory may be made to Epilepsy Canada c/o East Tower, 3250 Bloor St. W, Etobicoke, Ontario M8X 2X9.
