Obituary of Dennis David Raho

Please share a memory of Dennis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Dennis “Denny” David Raho

July 20, 1964 ~ October 8, 2025

Denny was born to parents Tom and Helen Raho in Red Deer. It is with broken hearts we announce Denny’s unexpected passing in Red Deer. Denny went to school in Blackfalds until grade 9, then went to Lacombe Composite High School.

The greatest loves of his life were his daughters and his new grand daughter. He worked almost twenty five years for Manitoulin Transport/Duckerings. He was friends with all the people and companies he delivered to. In his spare time, he loved to play ball more than anything else. He was a fan of the Oilers and Eskimos, after that the Toronto Blue Jays. He played pool league. He loved poker with the boys, animals especially strays, Saturday morning breakfasts, riding his motor bike, traveling and long talks with his sister during hockey games. More loves of his life were fishing, camping, quadding, hanging out with his special friends, cars and music. Most of all, he loved his family with all his heart. We are very fortunate to have the very close family we have.

Denny is survived by his daughters Tara (Trey) Nichols and Denise Raho; grandchild Harper Nichols; mother Helen (Jim) Dunk; siblings Mike (Darci) Raho and Wendy (Randy) Prediger; nephews: Logan (Sophi) Mave, Tyler Shave, Riley (Sloane) Prediger, Korey (Dani) Prediger and their children Delilah and Sam; uncle Dave Kenny; numerous other family and many dear friends.

Denny is predeceased by his daughter Nicole Raho and father Tom Raho.
