Ivan Wayne Brewster

1941 ~ 2025

Ivan Wayne Brewster passed away suddenly on July 1, 2025 at the age of 83 years.

Ivan was born on December 22, 1941 in Stettler, Alberta to parents Frieda and John Brewster.

After finishing school in Stettler it was soon after that he knew he had both an entrepreneurial side and sales side to him that led him to a rewarding and career that included owning an autobody shop in Kelowna BC, as well as stockbroker and then later on a successful career with Paymaster.

Growing up he loved playing hockey and then later on golf and then onto horse racing where he could be found at the track as much as possible with his only daughter Cindy.

Those who knew Ivan will remember him as kind, generous and easy to talk to. Besides being a great provider to his family, he also had many interests outside of work. Ivan was a hardworking man of integrity.

Ivan had many friends, who be missed by all those who had the honour to know him

Ivan leaves behind his wife Irene Brewster; four children: Robert, John (Jan), Cindy (Tom) and Jamie (Kimee); six grandchildren: Travis (Alyssa), Christine (Shaun), Tymara, Kayleb (Heather), Chris and Jenny and three great grandchildren Hailey, Tessa and Shylah; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by parents John and Frieda Brewster; four siblings Roger Brewster, Raymond (Karen), Jack (Marg) and June Brewster (nee Twack).
