Darlene Shirley Dahl

December 19, 1953 ~ June 9, 2025

Darlene was born in Stettler, Alberta to parents Gordon and Loverna Dahl and grew up on a farm near Donalda. She attended high school in Stettler and after high school moved to Yellowknife where she lived for 43 years. She moved back to Stettler to be closer to family and worked at Walmart until her passing.

She enjoyed spending time with her mother until she passed in 2020 and her nephews, their wives and great nephews and nieces.

She loved to scrapbook photo albums for everyone. She loved her job at Walmart, and the friends that she worked with there … her Walmart Family.

Darlene also had a love for animals especially cats, dogs and horses. She travelled a bit when she was younger and always loved a trip to the city for shopping and lunch, especially a good burger!

Darlene will be sadly missed and leaves to mourn her passing siblings: Stanley Dahl, Cheryl Charles (Dennis Fair) and Darrel Dahl; nephews: Duncan (Jennifer) Charles and Ian (Jill) Charles; great nephews: Jaden, Bentley and Kyle; great nieces: Bridgette, Quinn and Erika; brother-in-law Scott (Gail) Charles; aunts, uncles and cousins; many dear friends and her chosen Walmart Family.
