Karl Wayne Olaf Peterson

1951 - 2025

We are saddened to announce the passing of Karl Peterson, at the age of 73 years.  Karl passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025 at the Stettler Hospital & Care Centre surrounded by loving family.

Karl will be remembered for his quiet, giving, gentle soul, his quick wit and sense of humour.

He cherished his memories and loved to share to a listening ear.  He was often seen with a book in one hand and the other rested on his notorious four legged friend, “Meathead.”

Karl will be lovingly remembered by his son Rick; friend and mother of his children Judy; grandchildren: Jace, Jamie, Tamara, Christopher, William and Tia; great grandson’s Theo and Angel; sisters Julia (Robin) Weir and Sharon (John) Avery; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Karl has gone on to join his son James; brother Don; sister-in-law Holly; parents Laura and Fred; along with many friends and family.

We extend thanks to the doctors and nursing staff, your support and comforting care is greatly appreciated.  A special thanks to Tricia for her care and unconditional love and support for her Uncle Karl.

Believe more deeply.  Hold your face up to the light, even though for the moment you do not see.

formal funeral service will be held
