In Loving Memory of Irvin Lloyd Larsen

1934 - 2025

Irvin Lloyd Larsen, 91, passed away peacefully at the Stettler Hospital on February 1, 2025, surrounded by family.

Irvin was born January 26th, 1934, in Stettler, Alberta to Lawrence and Marion Larsen.  From the time he was little, they lived on the farm south of Stettler, where he continued to live throughout his life.

On October 24th, 1958, Irvin married the love of his life, Marlene (nee Rowland).

Irvin was very proud of his horses and cattle. Always a man of his word, Irvin’s deals whether with horses or cattle, were always honest and fair. He could often be found at the Stettler Auction Mart, a local farm sale, or at the hockey rink.

Irvin was a devoted family man and loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Irvin is survived by his loving children: Lloyd (Donna) Larsen of Stettler, Sandra (Terry) Bauer of Stettler and Sharon Larsen of Stettler; grandchildren: Kyle Larsen, Amy Lynne (Mark) Way, Janell (Jonathan) Hurdman and Charlene (Cody) Broughton; great grandchildren Lauren and Madeline Hurdman, Hunter Way, Emery, Brock and Whitney Broughton; brother-in-law Bill Rowland of Red Deer; sister-in-law Evelyn (Fred) Milner of Stettler; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many dear friends.

Irvin was predeceased by his loving wife, Marlene; parents Lawrence and Marion Larsen and brother Harry Larsen.
