Obituary of Zelma Lorraine Johansson

                                Zelma L. Johansson was born in Stettler, AB on May 26th, 1925 to Dewey and Lillian Cash.  She passed away November 15th, 2021 at the age of 96 years.

                   Zelma attended school in Botha and remained in the Stettler area until she started working in Ponoka.  That is where she met and fell in love with Arne.  They married in 1944 while Arne was in the R.C.A.F.  They lived in Meeting Creek and Donalda before moving to Stettler in 1960, where they raised their 6 children.

                   Predeceased by her parents Dewey and Lillian Cash; husband Arne; sisters: Glenna Case, Leila Drewes and Alice Miller; brothers Arnold and Edward; Zelma is survived by her sisters Vera Long and Donna Moody; sisters in law Dorothy Cash and Helen Johanson; children David (Mary), James (Anna), Donna Penosky (Lindsay), Judy Becklund (Dennis), Vivian Hallett (Scott), and Arne Jr. (Karen), 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends.

                   A private family funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 23, 2021 in St. Peter Lutheran Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jonathan Aicken officiating.  The interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Stettler, AB where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Arne.
