Obituary of Samuel Simon Morie

Mr. Samuel Simon Morie of Castor, Alberta passed away on May 27, 2015 at the age of 90 year. Sam is survived by his wife Helen Morie; daughters: Bev Morie, Becky (Trevor) Blumhagen and Monica Morie; 10 grandchildren: Nicholas Fraser, Patrick Fraser, Jason Morie, Amanda Morie (Jorge Vazques), Tamara Morie, Elyse Blumhagen, Leah Blumhagen, Jenna (Quinton) Bell, Robert Gustavson, Kassidy Gustavson; two great grandchildren Taylor and Joshua Evans; brothers George Morie and Stefan Morie; sisters Ruth Hupalo, Rosie Wychopen and Lucy Gorovenko; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, 2:00 PM at Knox United Church in Castor, Alberta. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital Foundation Long Term Care or charity of your own choice.
