Cameron John Bennett

July 3, 1975 – October 6, 2026 

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Cameron John Bennett in Castor, Alberta on October 6, 2026, at the age of 51.

Cameron was born on July 3, 1975, in Edmonton, Alberta to Anne and Glen Bennett where he grew up with his brother Glen.

Cameron worked in the construction industry as a Heavy Equipment Operator.  His son Zachary lovingly described his dad as someone who “could drive them all” when it came to heavy equipment in the oil fields or the gold mines.

 Cameron’s children were the light of his life and he loved making memories. They spent quality time camping, fishing and skiing together.  He was a devoted and loving father.

 Cameron will be lovingly remembered by his sons Zachary Bennett and Nicholas Bennett; wife Melanie Bennett; brother Glen Bennett; and other family and dear friends.

Cameron was predeceased by his parents Eleanor “Anne” and Glen Bennett.

Lord, our hearts ache with the loss of Cameron. Wrap Your loving arms around our family. Give us courage to face each day and peace in our memories. May we find comfort in one another and in Your unfailing love. Amen.

A service will be held at a later date.
